The first night I took it I was playing a video game, and I was doing better playing multi-player then I usually do, quite a bit better then normal. I'm not sure how much of that was a placebo effect.
My head does feel more clear while taking the supplement. It is easy on my stomach with or without food.
If it does have what it says it has in it, it really is a good multi-vitamin. I didn't have have any noticeable negative side effects. As long as it's affordable I would recommend it. I wouldn't recommend paying too much for it, it is more of a supplement rather then a stimulant.
However, the price is quite high for a 60-count bottle, especially considering there are other similar products at lower price points. The supplement is made in the USA, non-GMO, and free from fillers, which is reassuring in terms of quality. Overall, it’s a decent option for those willing to invest in a well-rounded brain support formula, though the cost might be a deterrent for some.
Transparency: Trademark activity dates to 2019. Stonehenge health has a well developed web page. In the “About Us” section they namedrop Gastroenterologist and celebrity Doctor Jeffrey Sherman MD (NBC show “The Doctors”), but don’t indicate what his roll might be with the company– although another website identifies him as its founder. Dynamic Brain includes a proprietary blend, which is a low transparency way to list ingredients.
Accountability: They do have a board certified celebrity MD who identifies with the company. Per Tenereteam dot com, the products are all made in facilities that comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices, although I can’t easily verify that they’re made in Certified GMP facilities, which is my personal gold standard for supplement safety.
Quality: This is a 30 day supply which includes over 40 ingredients, including a proprietary blend who’s first ingredient is a trademarked blend of Bacopa (I associate trademarks with quality). While I’ve experienced some benefit from Bacopa use, I can’t help wondering about quality control with so many ingredients– also it’s an overwhelming task to evaluate all of them. It does include a very small amount of Chromium Piccolinate, which I generally like to avoid.
While I’m comfortable taking this short term, I think quality assurance might become challenging with so many ingredients. I am a fan of the one trademarked ingredient (bacopa) which I’ve had good experiences with memory wise in the past. While I appreciate having someone (An MD no less) who identifies with the brand, I’d prefer a board of people, which would provide more accountability (and maybe there is a board, I just couldn’t easily find any info about that).
I initially took off two stars because of it appearing to be a one man endeavour (which may not be the case) and because of it containing a complex proprietary blend, which I am not a fan of. I added a star when I realized they indicated how much Bacopa they claim to be in this. Probably 3.5 stars would be a more accurate rating.
I find myself in a mental malaise often lately, so I was happy to order these nootropic support supplements. I see from the ingredients that they are basically a multi-vitamin, (which i already take daily) but with added herbal ingredients to assist with cognitive function support. So, I have been taking these daily, the suggested dose is two capsules per day, I take one in the a.m. and one in the p.m.
After a week or so I felt some new clarity of thought process, focus, and lifting of brain fog. I am going to keep going with these.
I think I like these. The old brain is back!
This is a good supplement with lots of vitamins and minerals to promote brain health. They come in a capsule form, that is in the larger size to me.
The bottle was double sealed, cellophane around the cap and a seal on the bottle. It’s made in the US and has an 800 number if you have questions. I think they’re are expensive though.
I got this because I’ve noticed that I’m forgetting a lot and would like to do something about it before it gets really bad. I haven’t noticed any difference yet, but it’s only been a few days.
The bottle lid has a proper shrink wrap on it, providing for tamper resistance.
This is marked as "Made in USA, from the finest globally sourced ingredients". Hmmm. Kind of hard to expect otherwise these days, sadly.
If you actually want to read the ingredients list, especially the "proprietary blend" list, get out a high power magnifying glass or set your phone camera to a high power zoom. This print is TINY.
I noticed that it lists soy, and fish (tuna sourced) in the ingredients. As someone with a soy allergy, this rules it out for me.
Contact info listed on the bottle includes a domain name, and an actual 1-800 number.
