    I was skeptical about this product. I have tried so many things to lower my triglycerides and lower my bad cholesterol, including changing my diet. Nothing seemed to work, except this. It lowered my triglycerides, but didn't do much to lower my bad cholesterol. Oh well, one thing is better than nothing.

    I like that these are one a day.
    I did not like that they are tablets. I missed that fact on ordering, I much prefer capsules. Don't know if it is working for me but will use these & next time will look for 1 a day capsules. These tablets are quite large and not easy to swallow.

    I just take this sporadically as I am not good at remembering to take any kind of meds or supplements on a regular basis. However, my husbands Dr. was ready to put him on pharmaceutical meds because he doesn't believe in supplements. At my insistence he gave my husband 6 weeks to show he could lower his cholesterol on his own. He started taking the Gugulipid and when he went back for his next check up his cholesterol had dropped 16%. When he went back this week for his 6 month check up it was still dropping enough that the Dr. is no longer pushing for pharmaceutical meds! My new years resolution is to become more mindful of taking supplements regularly!

    It is a sustained release, so the herbal preparation works all day. Diet changes, exercise and Gugulipids took my total cholesterol from 295 down to 165. Studies indicate that gugulipids also removes plaque from arteries already impacted which means it can reverse the affects of artherioschlerosis.

    My biggest problem is with fat in the blood. Really serious, my triglycerides are 800 untreated. Less than 150 is ideal. I'm a candidate for heart attack and stroke. Taking two pills one after breakfast, one after dinner and waliking 30 minutes a day my triglycerides are 200. Not great but much more human and in control.
    Contains much safer statin.

    Started using this after being diagnosed with low thyroid. I do take thyroid medication. However the medication keeps me on the low side of normal. I told my doctor I was still having the same symptoms. Since my symptoms never went away after starting the medication. My symptoms were (being tired and weak, ache in my joints and being cold.) I searched for a supplement that could help raise my thyroid levels to the more friendly side of normal. After adding Gugulipid, all my symptoms disappeared. My thyroid levels are now in the normal range- not to high for my age. My physician knows I take this and other supplements, for good health. I Had a complete Hysterectomy 21 years ago. Had my ovaries removed, broad ligaments and uterus. I wasn't put on HRT for over a year, due to severe endometriosis.Women that have a hysterectomy at a young age, have a greater chance of having low thyroid later in life.
